Rejieli Cokanasiga Taylor

Rejieli Cokanasiga Taylor is the Executive Director of Women’s Fund Fiji and a qualified Urban & Regional planner with over 30 years of experience in planning and development roles across the Pacific region.

She has worked in national and local government sectors and private practice in Fiji, leading teams on various projects through international corporations, bilateral government agreements, and stakeholder partnerships.

She has a strong background in leadership, policy, and advocacy, and has contributed significantly to Fiji’s National Development Plans, emphasizing capacity building and institutional development.

She has also developed communities through urban and regional policy formulations, Local Advisory Plans, and community development to address climate change and resilience.

She has served as an advisor to several senior Ministers and agencies and facilitated a partnership project with ADB and KPMG Singapore on the Future Cities project for TLTB’s Digital Land Register, Online Marketplace, and Blockchain project.

She holds a Bachelor of Urban & Regional Planning from the University of New England, NSW, Australia, and is affiliated with the Planning Institute of Australia, Urban Land Institute (ULI Asia), and the Fiji Planners Institute.

She is a passionate advocate for community and non-profit industry, focusing on arts, healthcare, education, youth and gender development, and women’s community projects.

She values diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and has an interest in heritage, arts, and culture. In her free time, Rejieli enjoys renovation and interior design projects and gardening.
