Ponijese Korovulavula brings a wealth of experience in project management, resource mobilization, and food security. With a proven history of securing funding from major international donors, his leadership and expertise will drive impactful, sustainable development initiatives.
He holds a Master of Food Security and Agricultural Development from Kyungpook National University in South Korea, a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science from the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, and a Certificate of Teaching from Lautoka Teachers College in Fiji.
Ponijese’s career highlights include leading proposal development at Live & Learn Fiji to secure funding for disaster preparedness, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihood projects. As Farmer Field School Coordinator for FAO-UN, he advanced climate-smart agriculture and community capacity-building. His work with the Ministry of Agriculture further strengthened his commitment to supporting resilient agricultural practices and communities.
