Makereta has more than 10 years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning in the Development sector, specifically for NGOs and CSOs that directly work with communities in Fiji and the Region.

She has worked for organizations like FRIEND Fiji, Live & Learn, ADRA Fiji, and Save the Children Fiji as a Project Officer, Team Leader, Project Coordinator, and MEAL Manager and is passionate about serving humanity.
