Laisani Nainoca

Laisani brings a wealth of experience in project coordination, information management, and monitoring and evaluation across leading humanitarian organizations.

She has previously served as the Regional Assistant and Information Management Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation in the Pacific. Laisani also worked with Save the Children Fiji as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer and Accountability Officer, where she developed MEAL frameworks, facilitated donor compliance, and coordinated feedback and response mechanisms.

In the early stages of her career, Laisani held roles such as Project Assistant at Save the Children Fiji and Program Support Officer at the Rotary Pacific Water for Life Foundation, focusing on water quality, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives.

Laisani holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of the South Pacific and is deeply passionate about advancing development and resilience across the Pacific region. Although new to the gender equality space, she has embraced this unique challenge as an opportunity to develop expertise while working towards her personal goal of contributing to a more equitable Pacific through her work in the development sector.

Outside of her professional life, Laisani enjoys outdoor activities and sports, particularly squash, where her competitive spirit shines. She is married and has one daughter.
