Nalini Singh

Nalini is a feminist and a social development specialist with over 20 years’ experience in design, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of women’s rights and development programmes in Asia and the Pacific. Nalini returned home eight years ago to head the Fiji Women’s Rights Movement (FWRM) as their Executive Director after working in regional feminist organisations for 12 years.   Nalini returns to the Women’s Fund Fiji after a gap of 4 years. She was a member of the Steering Committee, Chair of Steering Committee from 2017- 2020- when the Fund was being set up. She was also part of the Transitional Steering Committee when the Fiji Women’s Fund was transitioning to the entity it is today.  In some other roles, Nalini is currently a Commissioner with the Electoral Commission Fiji. She is a Board member of International Women’s Rights Action Watch – Asia Pacific and an active member of the Asia Pacific Forum for Women, Law and Development (APWLD)
